How to draw bubble numbers

The four-step letter method — skeleton, inflate, counters, shine — works unchanged on digits. Only a few numbers need special notes:

  1. 0 is a bubble O: a fat ring with the counter dead centre, about a third of the width.
  2. 2 is the swan: one curve over the top, then a plump base bar. Round the join where they meet — a pinch there is the most common bubble-number mistake.
  3. 4 keeps its little triangle window; like the bubble A, the counter shrinks but must stay visible.
  4. 5 is a flag on a belly — draw the belly first, then dock the flag on top so the two read as one shape.
  5. 8 is a snowman: two stacked rings sharing a waist, the bottom counter slightly bigger than the top — the same trick as the bubble B.
  6. 6 and 9 are the same drawing rotated: a fat curl closing into one round counter.

Bubble number questions

Can I make a birthday banner with these?

That is exactly what the printables are sized for — print the digits you need, color them, cut them out and string them up. Combine with the bubble letter printables for the name.

Why is there no double-circled zero in the chart?

Unicode simply never encoded one — the double-circled set runs 1–9 only. Use the regular circled ⓪ or filled ⓿ zero instead.

Do the circled numbers work in Instagram bios?

Yes — they are plain Unicode text and paste anywhere text works, the same as the bubble letters.
