How to draw a bubble letter R
- Sketch a skeleton P — post plus top bump — then add a diagonal leg from under the bump to the baseline.
- Inflate everything: fat post, plump bowl with its window, thick leg.
- Land the leg on a rounded foot, kicked slightly out to the right.
- Blend the joint where leg meets bowl, erase the skeleton, add a highlight.

Bubble letter R questions
Where does the leg of a bubble R start?
From under the bowl, not from the post — roughly where bowl and post meet. Starting it lower down the post opens an odd gap that breaks the letter.
What should I color the bubble letter with?
Anything — markers, crayons, watercolor. The outline is drawn thick enough to survive enthusiastic coloring, and the letter is big enough to cut out for banners.
